Day two of being home alone
Today I cleaned the entire house.
I realised on Friday that I was far too tired to do anything. So I left it till Saturday to get a good clean out of the place.
I’m not by any long shot a, “cleanliness is next to godliness” kind of gal and never was, but I do like to have a tidy bit of space to have a coffee and biccie in, so I whizzed through and have it looking okay. So here are some before and after pictures for you.
This is a funny one. When I rang Krys and Roz on Thursday to say goodbye, they were just about to board the plane and Krys says,
“About the kitchen…I’m so sorry it’s going to be an absolute mess when you get home. I was so busy trying to keep Roz entertained and packing and getting breakfast… I promise I’ll make it up to you when I get back.”
Oh that you will my friend, that you will.
It looks great, buuuut… less cleaning and more chilling!
You’ll be glad to know that today I did absolutely nothing at all.
Agree with Office mum. I’d do the clean up just before anyone gets home!
I did think about it, but I wouldn’t be able to do that. wading through toys is too stressful! But that’s me done for the week. No more cleaning.
