It’s been twenty years

Seriously! Twenty whole years. I finished secondary school twenty years ago!

A person born that year can now drink legally. They can get married. They could have a child who walks and talks right now. If they finished secondary school the same age I was, then they are entering their last year of a four-year degree.

How has time flown so fast?

I still remember my first day of secondary school like it was yesterday. The names of all the people in my class, the people I met during recess and the friends I made that day.

As the old song goes ‘I don’t remember growing older.’

Will I be looking back another twenty years from now and wondering again, how time has flown? Let’s home when I do, it’ll be filled with as much living as possible.
