Whoops!
So we’ve been good. and I mean really, really good.
But someone is obviously not behaving very well.
As we were having dinner this evening, Roz leaned over and said,
“Mum, I need to tell you something?”
Whispering in ears is her new “thang”, though whispering for her consists only of having her hand cupped over someone’s ear. The voice level does not go down.
So I dutifully leaned over and she brushed her lips to my ear and said,
“What the fuck is going on here?”
Well, I nearly choked on my dinner.
I swear I’m not the one using this language around her.
Krys burst out laughing and when the tears subsided for both of us and the giggles had died down he said,
“I’m so sorry Muuka,”
And with a reaction like that from both of us, I doubt she’ll forget that particular phrase any time soon.
Brilliant. One of those moments that you will probably never forget.
I am definitely not forgetting this one any time soon 🙂 kids are just so funny.
Haha! Oh, goodness, it’s the funniest thing when you hear that language coming out of their little mouths, but boy do they play on it when they realise it gets a reaction! Be prepared!!
We had a similar incident with a polish swearword and that passed quickly because she got no reaction. I think this one will last a while. I couldn’t stop laughing.
